HOW OUR PRODUCTS WORK

Cleaning System

The enzymes, emulsifiers, oxidizers and surfactants used in the Ceiling Professionals Cleaning System cause the soil on your surfaces to change its properties, breaking down the particles to approximately two microns. Capillary action safely removes the soil from pores and surfaces. These minute particles are disposed of through the normal room atmosphere and ventilation system. Soil found on your ceilings consists of three general types, which are removed separately in the cleaning process.

  • Dirt and soot, especially around heating and cooling vents
  • Yellow-brown material which is residue and tars from tobacco and/or cooking
  • Smoke damage and stains from water soaking through the ceilingDuring the cleaning process brushing and vacuuming remove the loosely adherent dirt and soot from your ceilings. Ceiling Professionals' environmentally friendly cleaning solutions contain a variety of ingredients that are intended to attack a particular component of the specific type of soiling we are working on. Once our solution is safely applied to your ceilings, the soil is loosened and starts to fall with the mist. Little to no particles fall to any surface within a room. However, we take all the precautionary measures to ensure that your room is protected from any particles that may fall to the floor.

HEALTHCARE CASE STUDIES

Product

Our product is a phosphate free detergent/disinfectant, which provides effective cleaning, deodorizing, disinfection, and sanitization.

It has been designed specifically for hospitals, nursing homes, schools, food processing plants, and other institutions where housekeeping is of prime importance in controlling the hazard of cross contamination.

Independent laboratory tests have shown that this product is an effective disinfectant against the organism Pseudomonas aeruginosa and meets all requirements for hospital use. It is formulated to disinfect inanimate hard surfaces such as walls, floors, sink tops, toilet bowls, tables, chairs, and telephones. For larger areas such as operating rooms, patient care facilities and restrooms, the product is designed to provide both general cleaning and disinfecting.

In addition, this product deodorizes those areas which generally are hard to keep fresh smelling, such as garbage storage areas, empty garbage bins and cans, toilet bowls, and any other areas which are prone to odors caused by microorganisms.

Disinfection

These laboratory tests have proven that this product exhibits effective disinfectant activity against the following:

Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichla coll, Klebsella pneumoniae, Salmonella schottmuelleri, Shigella dysenteriae, Salmonella choleraesuis, Cornyebacterium ammoniagenes, Enterobacter aerogenes and Staphylococcus aureus. At this level the product is also fungicidal against the pathogenic fungi, Trichophyton mentagrophytes.

Virucidat Activity

The product when used on environmental inanimate hard surfaces exhibits effective virucidal activity against influenza A2/Japan (representative of the common flu virus), Herpes simplex, Type 1 (causative agent for fever blisters) and Vaccinla Virus (representative of the pox virus group). Efficacy tests have demonstrated that this product is an effective bactericide, fungicide and vircide in the presence of organic soil (5% blood serum). At 2 ounces per 1 gallon in the presence of 5% blood serum and 400 ppm of hardness for a 2-minute contact time this product was found to be effective against HIV-1 (AIDS Virus).

BETTER THAN PAINT

When Cleaning is just Not Enough

If your ceiling is older and has not been maintained on a constant basis, cleaning may not be an option. However, painting can ruin a ceiling. Whether your ceiling is old or heavily stained Ceiling Professionals can assist you in restoring your ceiling at a fraction of the cost of tile replacement.

We apply our special Acoustical Recoat

Acoustical Recoat brightens any room by giving it a new fresh appearance...faster, more economically and with less disruption to your activities. Replacing acoustical ceiling tiles is expensive, time-consuming, and often disrupts your regular business operations. With Acoustical Recoat ceiling finish, your ceiling tiles are completely restored in one coat. Your grids, recessed lighting fixtures and speaker plates can be coated at the same time so that your entire ceiling is given a completely new appearance at less than half the cost of replacing tiles.

Unlike Paint or Cleaner

Acoustical Recoat is a scientifically formulated coating that actually restores Acoustical tiles to their original beauty.

Why Not Use Standard Paint?

Painting results in tiles being stuck to t-bars and frequently causes tiles to bow or warp with changes in temperature or humidity. Dirt on a painted surface will bleed through and yellow the paint.

Why Not Just Replace them?

Replacing tiles will not eliminate the problem, discolored grids and t-bars still need to be dealt with. If significant numbers of tiles are replaced at one time, it becomes more of an inconvenience and disruption to your normal routine than with recoating. Replacement costs would be considerably greater.

Why Isn't Spraying Messy?

The availability of proper materials and tools makes preparation for spraying less complicated. An average fully furnished office can be prepared for spraying in less than 30 minutes. Replacement is more "messy" with the equipment needed to protect the occupied area against fall-out from the debris above the ceiling tiles.

We Paint with a Clean Ceiling

Typically paint is simply applied over existing stains, which only makes your problem worse. Ceiling Professionals' Recoat is applied after cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and deodorizing the surface first. This eliminates the possibility of stains bleeding through the Recoat, an occurrence that often happens with paint.

Description

Acoustical Recoat is a quick drying, dry drop coating designed especially for airless spray application on acoustical ceiling panels. This product provides good light reflectance, low dirt pick-up and will not diminish the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of acoustic ceiling panels.

Where to Use

Acoustical Recoat is excellent for restoration of aged, discolored or mismatched ceiling substrates where retention of the original acoustical properties are a major concern. Acoustical Recoat may be tinted to match an existing color or you can change the ceiling color all together.
